Zlatni Rat Di Bol - The Most Beautiful Beach In Croatia
Beaches become tourist destinations when summer arrives, especially for people in Europe. The blue ocean lit up by the sun makes the holiday atmosphere even more exciting. The white sand is the hallmark of the beach which is also an attraction.
The white sandy plains stretched out into the ocean, like a tongue licking fresh blue water. That's the beach of the Golden Horn located in Croatia. The Golden Horn beach is the most spectacular beach in all of Europe. (Wikipedia.org)
Zlatni Rat Beach, otherwise known as the golden horn, is the destination of almost all tourists visiting Croatia. This beach is indeed Croatia's pride.
This white sandy beach is in the far east of Croatia, near the city of Bol. This beach stretches 580 meters into the middle of the ocean.
When viewed from above looks like a trumpet. This beach looks golden in the sun. That's why it's called the golden horn beach.
Many tourists from various parts of the world visit the Golden Horn, a beach on the southeast coast of Brac. Brac is a tiny Croatian island, consisting of pine, palm and white sand forests that stretch around the island.
The shape of the trumpet at the end of the beach is sometimes changed. Strong Sirocco winds can change its shape, especially the tip.
The wind moves the sand so that the end of the beach is sometimes tilted eastward, sometimes westward. These changes only happen every few years.
The Adriatic Sea breezes make Zlatni Rat a popular place for sunbathing and windsurfing. It's easy to stay cool with the warm breeze and sea spray blanketing people lounging on the beach from the three corners of the Golden Horn.
Likewise, windsurfers can take advantage of the gentle and westerly winds. Even those who don't enjoy windsurfing can find watching the sails blatantly like bobbing across the water.
In addition to enjoying the beauty of white sand, visitors who come to this beach can also swim and do water sports.
The water is clear and the current is not too strong, it's safe enough for those who want to swim.
The sea on the Golden Horn is a gradation of light blue and dark blue, and is always crystal clear. Starting in the morning, tourists flock to look for the warmth of the sun, swim in the clear sea water, and do various activities ranging from jet skis, Banana Boats, Scuba Diving, to Parachute Rides.
The beach provides umbrellas, sun loungers and rowboats for rent. Tourists can take advantage of the shade offered by the thick clumps of pine wood in the middle of the beach.
Meanwhile, activities such as swimming, beach volleyball, snorkeling and playing in the sand are something that can be done anywhere. If you feel like you've been exposed to too much sun, walk back to the beach. The pine forest not far from the Golden Horn is a great choice for shelter.
Best time to visit Zlatni Rat
Best time to visit Zlatni Rat is in the middle of summer. Those visiting in June or September have the best chance of enjoying a warm, dry holiday without sharing the beach with too many other guests. The beach is accessible year-round, but facilities, including lifeguards, are only available from May to October. Like most beaches in Croatia, Zlatni Rat is made up of pebbles rather than sand. Most guests will need beach shoes if they are not used to walking on this type of dirt.
