Greenland - Beautiful Places in the World

Greenland Tourism Guide

Greenland, an autonomous nation within the Kingdom of Denmark, could truly be said to be a world apart. The total population of the population is less than 60,000. The country that is known to be the least populated, and the largest non-continental island in the world. Icebergs and glaciers are probably the most famous features of the environment. The fantastic blue and white fantastic shapes float in the deepest blue ocean. Land ice, kilometers thick, appears static, but cracks and creaks as it shifts and expands.

Green mountains with beautiful flowers, rugged cliffs, hot springs, clear skies, and clean air are all waiting to be discovered. Sea and land animals - seals, whales, polar bears and wildebeest. Transport here is rather unusual. There are hardly any roads between towns, so if you want to explore it, you'll be using a boat, airplane, snowmobile, or sled.

Even though it's cold, its beauty is so amazing that you won't want to rush away! So if you have money, try to visit here first.

Hidden away in human history, a 460-mile-long canyon has been found beneath the Greenland ice sheet. Using radar data from NASA's Operation IceBridge, the scientists discovered the canyon stretching from near the center of the island to the north to the fjord of the Petermann Glacier.

Blue River
The Blue River is a river that flows between glaciers. The water flowing in the Blue River comes from the Petermann Glacier which is melting due to the warm temperatures. The bright blue water comes from glacial mud deposits. This river is also known as the kayaking paradise in Greenland.

Uunartoq Hot Springs
Hot springs are found all over Greenland, but on the uninhabited island of Uunartoq, the hot springs have the perfect temperature for a bath. Here, three natural hot springs combine into small pools where you can immerse yourself surrounded by icebergs and stunning mountain peaks. You can reach Uunartoq by taking a short boat ride from Ilulissat. There are thousands of springs elsewhere in Greenland, most notably on Disco Island, while on the east side of the country there are about a hundred more.
