Times Square, New York Travel and Entertainment Destination
Times Square has been known as one of the heart of New York City, United States. Every day, this place is almost never deserted from the bustle of US citizens who are active.
As the busiest pedestrian area in the world, Times Square is also the center of the Broadway Theater District and the world's entertainment industry. The Broadway theater district lies in the middle of Times Square. Hundreds of theater lovers usually line up at the TIX outdoor ticket booth for half-price tickets the afternoon before a show at one of the 40 theaters. No wonder Times Square is one of the most visited tourist spots in the world.
Previously, this place was known as the Longacre Square. Then, in 1904, it was renamed Times Square.
The name change came after The New York Times moved its headquarters to the newly erected Times Building, which is now One Times Square.
As the venue for the annual New Year's Eve ball party that began on December 31, 1907, Times Square also serves as the city square in New York.
The Times Square area, especially its bustling intersection, has often been the setting for stories in literature, television, film, music videos, and video games.
Times Square is easily recognized by viewers and viewers, so there are often scenes of Times Square being attacked and destroyed in various films.

Those with a sweet tooth can pick up snacks at M&M's and Hershey's expansive chocolate shops. Those of you who want to watch the chaos and crowds can bring a chair and sit in the center of the field which is closed to traffic. Or, catch a movie at one of the large multiplex theaters in the area.
Lastly, Times Square is lined with majestic high rise buildings, as well as billboards, making this place very luminous.
In fact, Times Square's gleam at night can be seen from space, because it is so contrasting with the surrounding area.
Satellite photos even show how the Times Square area is yellowish, due to the gleam of the city lights compared to the area around it.
