Kayangan Lake

This lake is one of 13 lakes located on Coron Island (the island is opposite Busuanga Island, where Coron Town is located).
Kayangan Lake is a lake with very clear water hidden behind the forest and karst hills. To get here, you need 15 minutes of trekking up and down. This place is a favorite for tourists to swim and relax.
There's a boardwalk around the lake. From the top of the wooden dock, travelers can sit and look at the view of the karst rocks that surround the lake, or peek at the clear bottom of the water. Kayangan Lake is about 40 meters deep. So even though it is feasible to play in the water, be careful. It is mandatory to wear a life jacket for those who swim. Entrance ticket: 300 pesos per person.

Mount Tapyas Coron Philipines

Mount Tapyas

Even though it is called a “mount”, this place is actually a 210m high hill in Coron Town. At the top of Mount Tapyas there is a giant cross and the words “Coron”. Under the cross there is a viewing deck to enjoy a 360 degree view of Coron Town and the surrounding islands. Usually this spot becomes a favorite place for visitors to enjoy the sunset. But to get to the highest point must complete 724 steep concrete stairs. Entrance ticket: free.

Atwayan Beach Coron Philipines

Atwayan Beach

This small beach is located in one of the recesses of Coron Island, which is bordered by karst walls towering like a giant fortress. The beach is not that wide, but it is always used as a stopover, because there are lots of huts on the shoreline. Usually the hut is used as a place to have lunch (bring food yourself). The waters here are also shallow so it is suitable for swimming and playing water. Entrance ticket: 100 pesos per person

Twin Lagoon Coron Philipines

Twin Lagoon

These two lagoons separated by karst cliffs are also located on Coron Island. The first lagoon is where ships dock to carry tourists. Meanwhile, the second lagoon is hidden behind a karst hill which can only be accessed through a gap under the rock formation, when the sea water is receding. Or if the sea is high tide, travelers can go through the available wooden stairs. In addition to swimming, visitors can also snorkel. Entrance ticket: 300 pesos per person.
